If you are interested in learning more about being a CASA volunteer, join us for a virtual info session:

Submit your application now to be included in this training class.
- Are you passionate about children and their rights?
- Are you looking for a way to make a meaningful difference?
- Can you devote 10-20 hours a month to advocate for a child?
- Are you at least 21 years old and have a reliable car to drive?
Then we invite you to become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Kent County. Follow the steps below to apply and enroll in our next training course. Or, make plans to attend our next information session. Questions? Email us or call 616-632-5311.
1) Submit Application.
2) Pass background checks.
3) In-person interview.
4) If you pass the checks and interview, you will be invited to join a training course. We will hold four trainings throughout 2022.
5) Complete 30 hours of training.
6) Be sworn in by a judge as a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
7) Choose your case.
