HOW TO GET STARTED

We are so excited that you are interested in becoming a court appointed special advocate, or CASA. If you can answer yes to these questions, you might be ready to fill out a volunteer application! The link is below.

  • Have you learned enough about the role of a CASA volunteer to make an informed decision? If not, visit our volunteer page, attend an info session, or contact us for more information.
  • Are you at least 21 years of age?
  • Do you have a driver’s license and auto insurance?
  • Are you willing to allow CASA of Kent County to check your criminal history and driving record? If there is something you are concerned about, we’d be happy to chat.
  • Do you have 10-15 hours a month to advocate for a child?
