Day of Caring 2024
At United Way’s Day of Caring 2024, CASA staff got to volunteer at local community partner organization St. Gianna’s No Cost Baby Boutique.
There’s nothing better than a beautiful day, great music, and the chance to connect with Kent County community members! During the summer months, the West Michigan Jazz Society hosts Jazz in the Park events, where community members gather outdoors to listen to talented jazz performers and enjoy the beautiful weather. For each event, West Michigan Jazz Society helps raise awareness about the vital work being done in our community. Recently, CASA of Kent County had the honor of being one of the featured organizations for Child Welfare Night at Jazz in the Park.
On Monday, August 12, we joined our partners in West Michigan child welfare – D.A. Blodgett St. John’s, Arbor Circle, Samaritas, AYA Youth Collective, Legacy Adoption Services, and Foster Kent Kids – for an evening at Millennium Park. Our team had the pleasure of connecting with community members, sharing information on how to get involved with CASA, all while enjoying the incredible music of headliner, the Mary Rademacher Quartet.
CASA of Kent County appreciates opportunities to connect with community members in fun, unique, and impactful ways. Thank you to the West Michigan Jazz Society for giving us a platform to spread the word about CASA!
