CASA of Kent County is excited to partner with local teachers from Catholic Central High School to feature student artwork! Several high school students have interpreted the theme “Ripple Effect” through artwork, which will be on display throughout the Huizenga Grand Room. Join us on April 23 to witness the theme “Ripple Effect” coming to life.

What is the CASA luncheon?

Each spring, CASA of Kent County holds its annual luncheon event. This event is an opportunity for donors, volunteers, CASA stakeholders, and interested community members to gather to learn more about and support CASA’s mission of child advocacy. Guests can expect to hear from speakers closely involved in CASA’s work, such as current or former volunteers or a judge from the 17th Circuit Family Division.

Past Events

The 2025 Annual Luncheon, themed Home, was our largest and most impactful event yet. Held at the beautiful Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, the luncheon welcomed 368 guests for an inspiring afternoon of community connection and shared commitment. The program featured powerful messages from key voices in the CASA network. The Honorable Deborah McNabb spoke about the vital role of child advocacy in her courtroom. She emphasized the difference CASA volunteers make in the lives of vulnerable children. Longtime CASA volunteer Ginger Randall shared her heartfelt journey advocating for several children, including a young man who aged out of the foster care system without finding a permanent home. Together, sponsors and guests raised more than $71,000 for CASA advocacy.
