CASA of Kent County relies on the generous financial support of community organizations and individuals to change the lives of the area’s most vulnerable children.

Gifts to CASA support the recruitment, screening, training, and supervision of our volunteers. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 91 volunteers were able to serve 168 children through advocacy in 2022. There is still so much work to be done! Will you join us in our mission to ensure that there is a voice for every child?

Events
We host two major fundraising events each year, a luncheon in May and an evening gala in fall. Please subscribe to our newsletter for information on these inspirational, impactful events. Or call 616.632.5230.
Matching Gift Programs
Many employers sponsor corporate matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by employees, retirees or employees’ spouses. Please ask your company’s human resources department if they will match your gift.
Faith-Based Giving
Many places of worship will occasionally split tithes for good causes. Be sure to mention CASA to your ministry as an organization that would benefit from congregational gift giving.

Material Donations
We’re always looking for small donations that support our volunteers as they enrich the lives of their CASA kids. Call us at 616.632.5230 if you can donate things like:
- Gas cards to help cover volunteer mileage
- School supplies: markers, crayons, pencils, paper, playdough
- Tickets/passes for volunteer/child outings including: Children’s Museum, Grand Rapids Public and Art Museums, Meijer Gardens, John Ball Park Zoo, movie theatres, etc.
